Lightweight concrete is a conceptual design for an apartment in the Marconi towers, Rotterdam. The design involves an open space with lots of natural light coming from the big number of windows. The inspiration for this project derives from Oscar Niemeyer's curved, concrete architecture. His use of this material transforms the actual heaviness of reinforced concrete into something that appears much lighter.
